PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)

Irregular periods?!  Hirsutism?! Let's talk about PCOS.... My name is Amanda,my monthly courses stopped showing up in the December of my sophomore year.  Frankly speaking,I thought myself to be born under a lucky star because, who on earth liked having periods, and of course I couldn't be pregnant. If my sexual inactivity basically all my life hadn't enlightened me of my,"lack" of a foetus in my womb, then it was beyond question that I was Mary the mother of Jesus. Missing my monthly courses posed to be yet only the shallow part of the issue when the acne came. Boisterous and uncontrolled,it lined just about every inch of my face. And alongside the acne, came the snarky comments. With every  "what the hell are you eating? " Or " what's up with your face? " That I got,my self esteem plunged down the drain. I felt disgusting and disgusted with myself. Ever heard this story?   Now  let’s talk PCOS "> Photo credit:www.istockphoto.com PCOS ...

My name is ezinne, pronounced (A-zee-ne),and I love to read.A wise man,or woman once said, reading is the cornerstone of writing. And in other words, that goes to say that reading is the foundation of writing.our core topics of discussion would b...
